Relax or play games in the DSI Game Room

Editor’s Note: This is the second article in a series featuring information about each room at the Creekside Community Center and Creekside Aquatics.

The DSI Game/Rec Room is a large space with lounge chairs and a TV connected to YouTube. It also has a ping pong table, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey, corn hole, and a good selection of board games, including chess, which students requested the most. There are even additional outlets for charging electronics.

Austin Smith, Sports Coordinator for Harrison Parks and Rec, said, “This is a great hang-out space for all ages. Staff will be available to check out the equipment needed for the games. What a great place to watch a Razorback game with other community members.”

DSI CEO/Owner Mike McNutt said, “Participating in the Creekside project is an opportunity for us to show support to our community. This is a space where everyone can take time to relax and enjoy a nice facility in their hometown.”

For now, the staff would like to keep this room available for everyone. Reservations are not needed, but a Creekside membership is required.
