On April 2, 2021, the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program selected Rose Hill Cemetery as one of the four workshops to educate on how to clean old gravestones properly and repair those that need repairs. Jonathan Appell of Atlas Preservation in Connecticut was the featured instructor. Jonathan Appeal demonstrated cleaning, leveling, and basic repairs of the headstones during the workshop. Holly Hope with the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program (Arkansas Heritage) was the coordinator for the event.
