After Hours Emergencies: If you are having water problems after hours and need assistance, the Department has personnel on standby around the clock. Just call the City’s dispatch number 870-741-5463, describe the situation, and the appropriate personnel will be paged to come out and assist you.
The Water Maintenance & Construction Department is responsible for operating and maintaining the City’s potable water distribution system, including water lines, storage tanks, pump stations, valves, meters, etc. Harrison purchases its water from the Carroll Boone Water District, which treats water from Beaver Lake and delivers it via transmission lines to its member cities.
Water Billing is provided through the City’s Accounting & Water Billing Department. Questions regarding water bills and/or payments should be directed to them at (870) 741-2525.
The Water Maintenance & Construction Department is made up of 14 full-time employees who are dedicated to providing the residents of Harrison with professional and prompt service. Our water system includes over 200 miles of pipe (ranging in size from 2-inch to 24-inch diameter), water tanks with 4.75 million gallons of storage, and over XX fire hydrants.
The City of Harrison has an active and comprehensive Cross Connection and Control Program that is administered and enforced through Water Maintenance & Construction.
