Josh was born and raised in Harrison. “I’ve actually only lived in Harrison because I graduated from the University of Arkansas online, so I really have never lived anywhere else,” he said.
“As our children are growing up, I want to have an input in the town they will live in. My neighbor was the late Mary Jean Creager. My parents purchased the home next to her in 2005, and we bought it in 2018.”
“She often met us at the fence to talk and bring us homemade goodies. She encouraged me to be vocal and get involved. We miss her.”
Josh and his family like Harrison because there is so much to do here, and many other activities aren’t that far away. “We have many restaurants, businesses, and great schools,” he said.
“I was impressed that so many people are on the same page when it comes to Harrison's future and direction,” he said.
He and his wife Becky, who is also a native of Harrison, both work for FedEx Freight. Josh works in the revenue quality department, which means he provides pricing for LTL customers. He has worked for FedEx Freight for almost 15 years.
Josh and Becky met at Dairy Queen, where they worked during high school and college. They have been married for 13 years and have two children, Finnlee, 9, and Emmalee, 3. The whole family is very active at Harrison Faith.
“Our kids enjoyed playing soccer this year, and Finnlee played football last fall. We are very fortunate to be able to live, work, and play in a community like Harrison,” he said.
