Bob Dodson and Mayor Jackson

During the City Council’s meeting on Thursday, March 13, Bob Dodson was presented with a plaque recognizing his time of service on the Planning Commission.

“We have a Planning and Zoning Commission. People put themselves out there many times, like this last couple of years. They do a very good job of enforcing our policies. Bob Dodson has left the Planning Commission after 12 years. I want to thank you for all your years which reads, ‘Thank you to your loyal and dedicated service.’

Dodson said, “Thank you, Mayor Jackson, for allowing me to serve.”

Jackson said, “We have another Planning Commissioner we want to recognize for his service, Cloyd Baltimore. But he is not here, so we will give him his plaque. He has served on the Planning Commission and City Council. We thank Cloyd also.”
